Today we will make a easy and tasty breakfast recipe Whenever you don't have enough time to cook, today's recipe could save you time These are all the ingredients we used for this recipe Firstly add 3/4th cup semolina in a mixing bowl Add 1/2 cup plain curd Add and mix 1/2 spoon salt to this Moisture in curd will make semolina to stick well together But just using curd won't do the trick so we will add some water too Now we will let semolina to absorb all the moisture so cover and put away for 5 to 7 minutes After few minutes semolina mixture appears to be thicker than before We need thin consistency so we will a little more water to this We have added about 1/2 cup of water so far Now add one chopped onion to this Fine chopped 1/3 bell pepper One fine chopped green chilli About two spoons of fine chopped coriander leaves 1/2 spoon of red chilli flakes Lastly add 1/2 spoon of garam masala and mix everything well together You can add a little water if required We don't need this mixture to be too thin, so this kind of consistency is great for this mixture Now add about 1 spoon of oil in a hot pan Add 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds when oil heats up Now add one spoon chana dal (split chickpeas) and fry it a little It'll take less than a minute to fry We will add and mix this to the semolina mixture too Lastly add 1/4 spoon of baking soda to this Now this mixture is ready to cook If you don't have baking soda you can use eno (fruit salt) too It'll have spongy texture because of baking soda Add some oil in the same pan Now add about 1 large spoon of this mixture, spread and cook Spread it gently so it could be of equal thickness allover Cover and cook for equal heat distribution on all sides After cooking for about 1/2 minute it seems to be cooked a little Add some oil drops on top, cover and cook for another half minute We are cooking it on Medium heat After cooking for a minute its time to flip it Flip and cook from other side now Cover and cook again from this side too We will cook it from both sides a few times until it gets golden brown in color After about 3 minutes of cooking its ready to serve Similarly add half spoon of oil in hot pan And add one large spoon of mixture to make pancakes Amount of ingredients used will make 4 pancakes Serve this tasty breakfast with hot chai and tomato ketchup You can serve them as they are but if you want to make them a little more presentable cut the pancakes in 4 pieces Did you liked today's recipe? please write in comment box below Share my recipe with your friends and family, press the like button below and do subscribe to my channel for more such recipes, Namaste
